Structure of the National Trade Facilitation Body

The NTFB is chaired by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications; its Vice-Chair is the Assistant Director / Coordinator of the Customs Administration. Its membership comprises senior executives of government authorities responsible for enacting regulations and enforcing controls on the imports, exports, and transit of goods. As and when needed, officers of other public authorities, institutions, and organizations may be invited to take part in the NTFB’s meetings when issues from their respective remits are under consideration.

The NTFB meets at least two times per year and may hold more frequent meetings when required, and reports to the Government of Serbia. The NTFB makes decisions by a majority vote of its members. Its deliberations are open to public scrutiny, and its transparency is ensured through its online presence and public announcements and press releases.
